Trick-OR-Treat 2010

We had a great Halloween night.  The kids had great costumes and we had great weather.  We went trick-or-treating with Grandpa Kip, Grandma Linda and Cousin Jenna.  Brooke was crowned the Trick-or-Treat Queen of the night.  She had her bag open and ready for candy as she ran from door to door beating her siblings.  Lauren was the first to poop-out and say she was hot and her bag was to heavy.  All three of them have lots of candy to share with Daddy when he gets back this weekend!!!  Here are some Halloween pics of my little sweeties:

Mason was an American Soldier, "Just like my Dad!", He says :)

Brooke was a CUTE SKELETON GIRL!

Brooke's Preschool Halloween Performance

Every year Brooke's Preschool does a very small Halloween Performance for the families.  They do a couple of skits and a few Halloween songs.  It is so cute.  This year Brooke was the scary thing in the witch's pot.  When two little curious ghosts sneak up to see what the witch is brewing...Brooke jumps up out of the pot and says "BOO!"  Of course she is just too cute to be scary!  Here is Brooke and two of her classmates at their performance.

Fall is in the Air

Every Fall Lauren looks forward to the Woolly Catapillars arrival.  Our favorite thing to do as we drive down the road near our house is...stop the car everytime we see one of them trying to cross the road (there is one every 2 feet!), then collect them in the cupholders.  We take them back to the house and let them free.  Lauren says that "We save them".
It's just a great fall activity for "just" her because Brooke and Mason want nothing to do with them!

Lauren and Brooke's Trip to the Pumpkin Patch 2010

Brooke, Lauren, Grandma Linda and Mom (Andrea) got to accompany Brooke's Preschool Class to the Bi-Zi Farms Pimpkin Patch in Orchards.  It was very fun.  The kids got to run around in a Haybale Maze, pet and feed the Farm animals, climb the bale pyramid, ride the tractor out to the pumpkin fields, pick the perfect pumpkin and then have a delicious snack brought by one of the preschool's terrific parents.  Quite the busy day!  Another exciting part of the day was Brooke's first School Bus ride to and from the patch without MOM!  She was very excited.  It was a beautiful Fall day and to top it off we got to spend it with Grandma Linda!

Andrea's 34th Birthday

I had my 34th Birthday on Sept. 7th.  James and the kids made me dinner and surprised me with a very yummy Raspberry cake.  The kids get so excited to help blow out candles.  We had to relight the candles several times to make sure that everyone got a turn.

Brooke's First Day of Preschool

Brooke had her first day of Preschool on Sept. 14th 2010.  Here is a picture of Miss "B" in front of her Preschool.

Brooke goes to a Parent/Teacher Cooperative Preschool.  Brooke and I were the helpers for the day.  Brooke got to be the student of the day.  She chose to bring her new Unicorn pillow pet for her item to share with her class.  She also chose cheese crackers, apple slices and apple juice to share as a snack with her classmates.  She had a very fun and full day.  I was glad that I got to be the Parent Helper and experience the day with her.  The day was LOTS of fun!

Our Trip to the Idaho Panhandle

At the end of August we traveled to Idaho for a Gross Family visit.  We visited Grandma Gross and got to spend time with our cousins.  We camped in Moyie Springs, ID in the panhandle.  Beautiful country and lots of fun.  The kids had so much fun with their cousins!
We made a stop at Stone Henge in Maryhill, WA (We were looking for a restroom).  Most everyone cooperated for a picture...you can see who didn't :)

Here are some pictures I took of the kids playing in the small lake where we camped
