Sweet Dreams

The girls got a new Bunkbed, Bedding and Organizer for their room.  It turned out really cute.  They just love it!  I must say it has been a challenge everyday since trying to keep it picked up and organized...since they really enjoy playing in their room.

New Bunkbed

New Organizer

This winter we got almost 2 feet of snow.  It was pretty for awhile then, it caused a lot of trouble.  Most of my neighbors couldn't make it up the hills to get back to their homes.  It was trecherous to get the kids down and up the hill to catch the bus.  The funny thing was that there wasn't any snow in town...So no one realized how bad it was where we are!  Glad it's all gone...We are ready for SPRING!

My house in the snow, very pretty...

Down the hill from my house...

Thought this was the cutest picture of the girls...

My Mase-man...finally started feeling better at the end of the day (Stomach Flu)...Glad he got to get out and have some snow fun!

We are the Papermakes from C-H-S!

This winter Lauren participated in a Cheerleading Camp at the Camas High School.  She had a ball!  She definitely liked being in front of the crowd.  She was just adorable!
GO PAPERMAKERS!

All ready for her Performance...

It was so cute and Lauren instantly noticed me in the crowd and she waved and twirled!  I waited and waited to see her and she was the last little girl to come out onto the floor.

Beauty and the Brace

My poor little Brookie Girl was playing Horsey with Daddy and Mason and she slid over James' Head and she jammed her wrist...breaking it.  She was such a brave little lady.  She broke her wrist half-way through, so luckily she only had to wear a brace.  It make taking bathes and playing much easier.  She was all healed by her 4 week check up.

A Family Trip To Battleground Lake

James had read in the newspaper that Battleground Lake was newly stocked with fish.  So we decided to get the kiddos out of the house and get some fresh air and a little sunshine...it was such a beautiful day!  After spending a about an hour fishing with the kids...we noticed that we hadn't even had one bite and or even seen one fish jump in the lake.  We find out from some people that frequent the lake that there are these diving birds that were eating of the newly stocked fish...Oh, well.  We had a great day...and Grandma Linda even met us at the lake and we went out for lunch.

James pretending to have a fish-on...At least he caught something that day, even if it was a log!

FLOODING...YIKES!

We had some pretty bad flooding this winter after Christmas.  There was a lot of snowfall in the mountains and then we had a quick thaw...Many creeks and rivers around our area flooded.  We had a portion of our road wash out...It actually happens every few years...but, it is still scary!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas...

Christmas 2010
The holidays were great and very busy in the Gross Household.   This year we spent Christmas Eve with the Nickel-side of our family.  Grandpa Dick has had lots of health problems last year so, it meant a lot of have our whole family together to spend time with him.  Also welcoming Naiya to our family, made this year even more special.  Here are a few pics of the kids at Great Grandpa and Grandma Nickel's house:

CHRISTMAS DAY

Santa decided to come to our house even though there was a lot of threatening to call him this year...and he also brought actual presents instead of coal!
The kids had a great morning and got lots of very things to keep them occupied.
Christmas afternoon was spent with my mom Cindy and the Gross side of the Family.  Here are some pics of Christmas morning...

Still grumpy even with presents to open...not everyone can be a morning person :)

Lauren so excited that Santa visited....I wonder what's in all those packages?

Brooke ready to dig into the gifts left by Santa..

Another Mouth to Feed...

Here is the newest member of our family...Our hamster Rudi...short for Rudolph.  He was a gift from Grandma Nanie.  He really is very cute and very durable little guy...Thankgoodness!  He is man-handled constantly, and he has been lost in our house on several occasions.  Don't worry...we always find him :)
