James arrived home after 5 weeks of deployment safe, tan and 20 lbs. lighter. It was nice having him home and then almost immediately he starting working overtime. But, that is what happens during the winter every year when his dredge ships are in for service. Shortly after James arrived home we prepared for Thanksgiving. It was simple, fun and tasty! We had some family over and enjoyed a great meal at our house.
Then on December 18th, 2010...My Niece Naiya Marie Nickel was born at 12:54pm, weighing 8lbs. 2 oz. and she was 19 inches long (SO adorable!)...What a blessing she is to our family. Her mommy Tracy did a great job!
